Bet Sizing Tutorial

Choosing the correct bet size is another skill winning players have mastered. In No Limit Hold'em bet sizes are considered small or large depending on the size of the pot. For example if you bet half the pot size it is considered to be a small bet, whereas if you bet the size of the pot or more than the pot it's considered to be a large bet.

  • C-Bets, value bets and dry boards: keep it small.
  • Pre-flop, monster hands and bluffs: go big.
And for everything else stay somewhere in the middle.

If you have further questions you could have them answered by taking part in one of our free training sessions or by posting them in the PokerScoolOnline forum.
