Core Poker Lessons
This series of articles will deal with the core concepts that apply to all forms of poker.
In the first half you will learn about starting hands, position and the tight aggressive style – which means playing only a few hands, but playing them decisively. The second half focuses on odds and outs, the purposes of betting, handling variance and managing your bankroll. There is a lot of material in this course - but mastering these concepts is key to becoming a successful poker player.
The quiz will help you find out if you are ready to play for real money, and if you pass, you become eligible to compete in our No Limit Hold'em PSO Monthly $1K Added event members need to complete the Core Course and pass the Core Quiz. Once you have passed the Core Quiz you can take the Sit & Go Course, if you pass the quiz you earn prizes.
